01 The problem

You are not behind on AI. You are behind on applying it.

You have the subscription. You have forty tabs open. You asked it about your cash flow and got advice that would fit any business on earth, because out of the box it knows nothing about yours. So you closed the tab and did it by hand, again.

Cash flow

You need a forecast, not an essay about forecasting.

Operations

The same five tasks eat every Tuesday.

Customer service

Replies that sound like you, at eleven at night.

Content

A month of posts that do not read like a robot wrote them.

Decisions

A second opinion that has actually read your numbers.

None of that is a knowledge problem. It is a practice problem.

02 Why meerkat

A meerkat weighs about a kilogram and lives where everything is bigger than it. It is still here.

Not because it is fast. Because of how the mob works. Three of those habits are the whole teaching model here.

The sentry

One animal stands up. Everyone else gets to work.

At any moment one meerkat is upright on a mound, scanning, while the rest of the mob has its head down. The job rotates. Nobody watches all day, and nobody has to. That is our job for you. We track what is actually shipping in AI so you never have to read a release note.

The alarm calls

A small shared language beats a long explanation.

Meerkats do not just shout. They have a separate call for a hawk and for a snake, and every animal knows exactly what to do on hearing each one. No thinking required under pressure. We build the same thing: named playbooks the whole room already knows, so nobody starts from a blank page.

The scorpion lesson

Nobody lectures a pup about scorpions.

Adults teach pups to handle them in stages. First a dead one. Then a live one with the sting removed. Then the real thing, watched. Every stage is real practice where a mistake is survivable. We train the same way, on your actual business, starting where getting it wrong is cheap.

Try it Stand the watch

Hold the mound.

Press and hold. While someone is up there watching, notice what everyone else is free to do.

Nobody down there is looking over their shoulder. One stands up so the rest can put their heads down.

03 What you get

Three things, running every week.

The sentry system

The Watch

A short briefing on what actually changed in AI this week and what it means for a business your size. Most weeks that is one thing worth your time and four you can safely ignore. We name both.

Graduated practice

Field Drills

Guided working sessions where you point Claude or ChatGPT at a real problem in your business and we build the thing together, live. Session one you copy. Session four you lead. Session ten you are teaching someone else.

The home base

The Burrow

The room the rest of the week happens in. Members post what worked, what broke, and the exact setup behind it. Ask at two in the morning, get an answer from someone who solved it last month.

04 Who it is for

Founders and operators. Any industry.

For you if

  • You run something real and your time is the scarce thing.
  • You want to build the skill yourself, not rent it forever.
  • You are fine being a beginner in a room for eight weeks.
  • You would rather ship a rough automation this month than plan a perfect one all year.

Not for you if

  • You want someone to do it all for you. That is an agency, and Syn Media has one.
  • You are here for the theory. There is a great deal of that for free already.
  • You need a certificate more than you need the outcome.

No coding needed. If you can write an email, you can do every drill here.

05 The track record

Built, not theorised.

JoinMeerkat comes out of Syn Media, a creative and automation studio. The methods taught here are the ones used to ship these.

ProcurementALIGN

Procurement and supplier workflow, built and running.

LogisticsBIRD Logistics

Fleet and delivery operations, moved off spreadsheets.

AgritechFarmFlow

Farm operations and yield tracking for growers.

Soon Member quotes

Quotes from members land here after the first cohort. We would rather leave this space empty than fill it with something we made up.

06 Straight answers

The things people ask first.

Some of it, yes. That is exactly why the briefing is weekly and why the drills teach a method instead of a tool. What you learn about breaking a business problem into steps a model can actually do will outlive every model in the room.

No. Every drill runs in a chat window. If you can write an email you can do all of it. The people who struggle here are the ones who will not bring a real problem, not the ones who cannot code.

Most of it, in pieces, spread over a hundred videos, none of them about your business. What you cannot get free is someone watching your actual screen while you work, and a room that has already solved the thing you are stuck on.

The briefing is a five minute read. A drill is about ninety minutes. The Burrow takes whatever you give it. Members who get the most out of it spend under three hours a week.

If money is tight, wait. This pays back fastest when you already have work to take off your plate. If you are still finding the idea, the free weekly briefing is the right size for you.

Both, and where each one is genuinely better. Claude for long documents, careful reasoning, and anything touching your numbers. OpenAI for speed, images, and the widest tool support. Picking one and ignoring the other costs you more than learning both.

The studio JoinMeerkat comes from. Creative, tech, AI and automation work for clients, plus its own ventures. The lab exists because the same questions kept arriving from founders who did not want an agency, they wanted the skill.

07 Join

The first mob is small on purpose.

Doors open to a small first group. Put your email in and the weekly briefing starts arriving straight away, plus first call when the drills begin.

One email a week. Leave whenever you like. We never sell your address.
